I do reviews!
I'd love to review your:
- parenting, woman, or reader/writer related service or business
- blog or website
- book
- CD
- or anything else you think parents, women and people who write or read might be interested in
Two ways to do it - paid and free
You can pay me directly for a review. I use PayPal to invoice you.
- Cost: $25 per review
- What you get: One post reviewing your site, blog, product, book, etc. - minimum 200 words.
- Benefits: The article is focused on your product/site. You will receive in-text links, which will provide the maximum value in exposure and SEO benefits.
- Cross-blog marketing: I own or write for many blogs (see my sidebar for a listing). If I think your product is of interest to my readers on those blogs, I will promote the review and link to it on my other site(s). However, I will not publish the review in several places because duplicate identical postings bring down search engine listings.
Why pay?
- You'll get your product, business, service or site reviewed within 72 hours (3 business days) of receiving your product. (If it's a book, I will take the time to read a few chapters before writing a paid review.)
- A Mama's Rant gets decent traffic from women, writers, parents and other mommy bloggers - 100-150 unique readers and 100-150 page views per day.
- The power of a review post. On my cooking blog, This Mama Cooks! On a Diet I did a short review of Cutting Edge Cake Design, a small business owned by a local mom. Since then Susan has been getting business from all over the Denver metro area just from people finding the review via Google searches.
- My Google page ranking is 3.
Caveats
- Remember, just because you pay doesn't mean a positive review. I try to be fair and honest in my reviews even if the product or site has flaws. See this post over at This Mama Cooks! On a Diet as an example. I believe in the power of positive and constructive criticism and won't put your product down just for the thrill of it.
- All paid reviews are identified as sponsored posts. Here's a sample: first page and second page of AskPatty.com paid review.
Want if I don't want to pay?
- That's fine. Contact me and pitch your product.
- However, if I'm swamped - and I usually am - it may take awhile to review your product.
- I only write positive reviews if I like your product, not just because you send me free goodies.
Email me to pitch your product and I'll send you my mailing information if I'm interested.
