Are you involved with your child’s online life? Highlights Magazine and Glubble want to know. That’s why they’re inviting parents to participate in a short poll at Highlights.com.
Parents play a key role in introducing young children to the Internet, but it’s scary letting kids play online. You don’t know who’s in that chat room and you don’t want them on scary or X-rated sites. With Glubble, you have a great tool that lets children go online only where you want them to be. Basically, Glubble lets you grant permission to online usage without having to constantly be looking over their shoulder.
Glubble is a free, online activity center for families with children 12 and under that allows parents to choose safe websites for their kids, supervise where children go online, and use social networking, photo sharing and other tools to enhance family relationships.
Why I love Glubble – protecting my PC from disasters
Let’s say Lucie wants to go to the Nick Jr. site and play a Dora game. I call up my Glubble family page in my Firefox browser (no it doesn't work with IE, sorry). Then I click on her profile. Her page comes up in a full screen mode where she cannot access any other part of my computer without me entering a family password.

I’ve already approved the Nick Jr. site in the Glubble Library as a "glubble," so all she has to do is type in www.nickjr.com into the browser and she’s set to play. I don't have to monitor her and I'm not freaking out over the computer locking up because she somehow managed to open up 10 other programs while she was online.
And that's why I love Glubble. Frankly, I don’t like my kids going online because I’m scared that they’ll accidentally download a virus or randomly click on something and mess up my PC’s setting. I need my computer for work and without it, I’m in a world of hurt. But with Glubble I can let them play on my computer knowing that they only go where I want them to.
Why you’ll love Glubble
Parents can monitor their children’s usage from websites they request to use to search engine terms they type in to do that history report.
The site also features social networking functions like sharing pictures and IMing each other. But again, since you've set up a safe environment, they can only talk to their cousins, siblings and adult family members and you can monitor the entire conversation.
So, open an account, set up your family page and get your kids using Glubble TODAY!
