I won a $50 Amazon.com gift certificate yesterday from Kaboodle and feel a bit guilty that I'm not using their service. Instead I've been using FilmLoop, which doesn't have as much bells and whistles as Kaboodle, but seems easier and less time consuming to use. It's a great visual representation for a list of items like books or videos, or a step-by-step how to in cooking or craft making.
So far, I've created these fun loops:
Children's Science Fiction Books
Great Movies Based on Children's Books
Black Widow Bakery's Meatcake by Vashti
I'm planning to make one for the Star Trek 40th Anniversary Blog Carnival of the various characters in all the Star Trek movies and TV show. I may break them up by captains, first officers, other officers, and villians otherwise it'll be one damn big loop.
And when I have a second, I'll be creating a FilmLoop of school uniform items. No matter how often you send the info home, parents still don't quite understand about shirt colors and pant styles. I'll post it on the charter school website every time French Toast has an online sale. It's one way to get parents attention and provide a visual reference for our uniform code.
(And thanks to Ian Hsu for the great FilmLoop use suggestions.)
