It's that time of year. You know, present buying time whether you celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas or Kwanzaa.
Damn, already? But we haven't finished eating the Halloween candy yet!
It's hard buying just the right gift for kids. You don't want to waste money on trash. And you want to get them something that's educational yet fun. You think, what do kids like? Will this toy fall apart? Will this book appeal to my neice? Will my son hate this? Will they ever use this gift that I spent a small fortune on?
It's enough to make you wish it was January 2005.
Let me recommend two blogsites that may make it easier for you:
First, Shopping for Toddlers (Toy reviews for toddlers and preschoolers, ages 2-5.)
And Book Buds from Anne, the Inland Empress.
Now go out there and shop! (And if you're shopping online, do us bloggers a favor and use our shopping links. Thanks.)
